InspiraDB (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "the App") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.

2. Data Collection

Local-First Principle: InspiraDB adopts a local-first architecture. Your image files and index database are stored locally on your Mac by default and are not automatically uploaded to the cloud.

Data Transmission During AI Analysis: Only when you use the AI auto-tagging feature are images temporarily uploaded to cloud AI services (Zhipu AI, Kimi) for analysis. After analysis is complete, image data is not retained on the servers.

We do not collect:

• User identity information
• Device identifiers
• Usage behavior data
• Crash logs (unless voluntarily reported by users)

3. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: All image metadata, tags, and search indexes are stored locally on your device at ~/Library/Application Support/InspiraDB/.

Database Encryption: The local SQLite database uses AES-256 encryption to protect your tag and search index data.

Exported Data: When you export images, data is saved to your chosen destination, giving you complete control.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party AI services for image analysis:

• Zhipu AI: For image visual analysis and vector embedding generation
• Kimi (Moonshot AI): For tag structure optimization reasoning

These services only receive temporarily uploaded image data for analysis and do not use your data for model training or retain it on their servers.

5. User Rights

You have the following rights:

• Export all your data at any time
• Delete the local database and all caches
• Choose not to use AI analysis features (use completely offline)
